This year is the 50th anniversary year of the founding of United Parish. On Sunday, June 14, in our online worship service, we will feature the United Parish anniversary theme: Rooted in the Past, Reaching into our Future with some special guests.

We gave a farewell blessing to our departing seminarian, Jaz Buchanan, in worship on May 17. We are commissioning a liturgical stole for her. If you’d like to contribute ($5-20), please send a check with “Jaz stole” in the memo line or send a donation via PayPal.

Our choir section leaders, as well as our Assistant Music Director Josaphat Contreras are leading weekly small group music classes on Zoom. These are primarily for our choir members, but the classes are open to other church members who are interested.

Often in the spring, the Building and Grounds Ministry team organizes a Service Day when members and friends can work together on various maintenance items around the church building.

We need your ideas by May 18 for our Sabbatical Grant. We are applying for a clergy renewal grant from the Lilly Endowment (deadline June 5). This grant will provide up to $50K in funds for a sabbatical renewal time for both the congregation and our senior pastor in 2021.

The United Parish Relief Fund has been created to help members and friends of our United Parish community who are in need of financial assistance due to COVID-19.

With the recommendation of our Stewardship and Budget Ministry Team and other ministry team leaders, our Church Council approved application for relief funds from the PPP of the Small Business Administration (SBA), for $50,000 to help cover our payroll expenses this spring, while our building...

Our neighbors at CareOne Brookline and Goddard House have been hit hard by COVID-19. We want to let them know that we are thinking about them. We invite United Parish families and members to write cards and make drawings (especially all our little artists) to be dropped off at these facilities...
