Around the Community: Racial Justice Interfaith Conversation

Date: Sunday, January 17, 2021, 4:00 pm via Zoom
Organized by the Brookline Interfaith Clergy Association

We invite leaders in our faith communities (lay and ordained) who are working to promote racial justice to gather on MLK weekend to connect with each other.

We would like each participating congregation to bring 3-5 leaders to a Zoom meeting hosted by Temple Sinai.

We will begin our gathering with prayer and recognizing the urgency of the moment to fight for racial justice.

The bulk of the meeting will be breakout groups with people from different congregations, and facilitated by clergy leaders, to discuss the work each congregation is doing, the successes, the challenges and how as people of faith, we see this work.

We hope this gathering will connect us in deeper ways and give us the connections and courage to continue building the beloved community dreamed of by The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
