Nursery Care

We would like to remind parents that our nursery is located on the 2nd floor and is staffed with qualified caregivers to care for infants and children through kindergarten age. Children older than kindergarten are part of our worshipping age group.  Feel free to click below for more information on our teachers and our goals.

Vena Priestly is a long time member of the United Parish.  She currently attends Pine Manor College in the Biology and Nursing Program.  This is Vena's second year in the Nursery Room and with her two children she brings her great experience and enthusiasm to the child care program.  Vena enjoys reading alout to children and leading them in creative art projects.

Alex McConnell is a recent graduate from Wheelock College with a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and a Minor in Education.  Alex has returned tothe United Parish after growing up with the community as a child.  He remembers Theresa the long-time caregiver of the Nursery Room when he was a young child, and later assisted Theresa with the children during church service hours as he grew older.  Alex is Early Child Care and CPR/First Aid certified and is excited to bring the knowledge from his course work to Nursery Room.
