Growing Grandparents is a place for active grandparents and peers to share ideas and experiences during this special time of life. On Monday, December 9 at 10:30am in the Parlor, we will discuss Part III of the book Eye of My Heart, edited by Barbara Graham.

Join us on Sunday, December 1 from 9:45-10:45am in the Chapel for the annual wreath-making workshop. There will be music, food, and supplies for everyone to make their own Advent wreath. Open to all! Hosted by the Children and Youth Deepening Ministry Team.

On Sunday, November 17, we welcome back professional photographer David DelPoio as he works to give us some new, fresh, current photographs of this lively, vibrant church.

We hope you will join us to give thanks for warm food and for our community that welcomes everyone in.

Join the Middle and High School Youth Groups for festivities, fun, and food at our annual holiday party! High School Youth Group (grades 9-12) will meet December 14 from 6-9pm. Middle School Youth Group (grades 6-8) will meet December 15 from 6-9pm. Both parties will take place off-site.

After church on December 8 in the Marion Street Lobby, there will be a bake sale to raise money for the Pastors’ Emergency Fund. Bring your cookies, bars etc. and come to enjoy the goodies donated by others.

This year, a Wish Tree will be added to our Marion Street lobby decorations. This is a tree of wishes for the various choirs we have at United Parish. What better time of year than now to put forth wishes for our choirs!

The third annual Christmas Market will take place after worship on Sundays, December 8, 15 and 22. Tell your friends and family that you’ve made gifts in their honor to organizations doing good in the world. Perfect for gifts or stocking stuffers. Cards with descriptions come with every gift.

Do you have an inclination and/or skill that can help us with any of the following projects? Or do you know someone who does?

Join us Thursday evenings in Advent (December 5, 12 and 19) from 6:30-7pm for a contemplative worship service in our Chapel. We invite you to observe Advent during the bustle of the holiday season by stepping into the quiet and candlelight on Thursdays for some centering time of prayer and song...
