Each year, we decorate the Sanctuary on the Sunday before Christmas Eve with poinsettias donated by individuals and families honoring or in remembrance of a family member or friend.

Join the Middle and High School Youth Groups for festivities, fun, and food at our annual holiday party! High School Youth Group (grades 9-12) will meet December 14 from 6-9pm. Middle School Youth Group (grades 6-8) will meet December 15 from 6-9pm. Both parties will take place off-site.

This year, a Wish Tree will be added to our Marion Street lobby decorations. This is a tree of wishes for the various choirs we have at United Parish. What better time of year than now to put forth wishes for our choirs!

Growing Grandparents is a place for active grandparents and peers to share ideas and experiences during this special time of life. On Monday, December 9 at 10:30am in the Parlor, we will discuss Part III of the book Eye of My Heart, edited by Barbara Graham.

After church on December 8 in the Marion Street Lobby, there will be a bake sale to raise money for the Pastors’ Emergency Fund. Bring your cookies, bars etc. and come to enjoy the goodies donated by others.

On Sunday, December 8 after worship, the Hearts and Hands ministry team will be selling handmade origami ornaments. Proceeds will benefit the United Parish Emergency Fund. Contact upheartsandhands@gmail.com.

Join us on Sunday, December 1 from 9:45-10:45am in the Chapel for the annual wreath-making workshop. There will be music, food, and supplies for everyone to make their own Advent wreath. Open to all! Hosted by the Children and Youth Deepening Ministry Team.

Join us Thursday evenings in Advent (December 5, 12 and 19) from 6:30-7pm for a contemplative worship service in our Chapel. We invite you to observe Advent during the bustle of the holiday season by stepping into the quiet and candlelight on Thursdays for some centering time of prayer and song...
