Calling all ministry team conveners! Please join the first part of the Church Council meeting on Wednesday, November 3 from 6:45-8pm to talk about our shared priorities for the year and how we can support each other in our ministry. Thank you for the many ways you serve United Parish.

United Parish has formed an ad-hoc, one-year provisional Financial Planning Team to create a long-range plan for the overall fiscal health of our community.

Our third (and perhaps final, weather-depending) Outdoor Family Worship will be happening on HALLOWEEN! Worship will begin on the Front Lawn at 9:45am, where we'll sing, pray, learn about the story of Esther, and celebrate our own identities together.

On Sunday, November 7, we will commemorate All Saints Day. We welcome receiving the names of saints in your lives (loved ones, family, friends, mentors) to print in the bulletin and read aloud in worship.

From the Human Relations Ministry Team:

Growing Grandparents begins discussion of the book Games Grandmas* Play by Joan Jacobs when we meet on Zoom on Wednesday, October 20 at 10am.

On Sunday, October 31, the United Parish in Brookline is launching a brand new racial justice initiative centered on the musical legacy of enslaved African Americans. We will begin the practice of collecting "royalties" for the African American, or “Negro,” Spirituals we sing in worship.

A Call to Action! Greater Boston Interfaith Organization's (GBIO) Mayoral Assembly, Wednesday, October 27 at 7pm on Zoom. Following up on the largest mayoral forum of the Boston election on August 31, GBIO will host a new event for the two final candidates.
