Each year, we decorate the Sanctuary on the Sunday before Christmas Eve with poinsettias donated by individuals and families honoring or in remembrance of a family member or friend.

Join us on Friday, December 3 at 6pm on the front lawn for December’s First Fridays fellowship event. For the second year in a row, we are getting a Christmas tree for the front lawn. Children and youth are invited to help decorate the tree.
Handel and Haydn Society is grateful to the United Parish for hosting our youth choral programs on Saturdays this season. The H+H Youth Choruses inspire and unite young people ages 7-18 through transformational experiences with music in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
We are looking for an additional person to be a regular Sunday Sexton. This is a paid position of $16/hour. Hours are 8am-1pm. The main tasks include making sure the building is ready for worship and other programs, setting up for Coffee Hour, and cleaning up after worship.
To observe Transgender Day of Remembrance, we are flying a pink, blue and white trans pride flag on our front lawn.
Our Multimedia Producer Teaira Perry is looking for volunteers in the congregation to join the tech team to assist with the livestream of worship on Sunday mornings on an occasional or regular basis. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in media or technology.
Join us on Zoom on Tuesdays, November 30, December 7, 14, and 21 at 6:30pm for a 30-minute, contemplative worship service. We invite you to observe Advent during the bustle of the holiday season by (virtually) stepping into the quiet and candlelight for some centering time of prayer and song.
The Stretching into Justice Team invites you to support City Mission’s Coat Boston. Since 2009, more than 18,000 elementary school children in Boston have received new coats through City Mission, and United Parish has been participating for almost as many years. This year is no exception!
