Join us after worship on Sunday, November 17 in Willett Hall for our all-parish meeting and potluck lunch. Last names A-L are encouraged to bring desserts, and M-Z are encouraged to bring side dishes - but the most important thing to bring is yourself!
Once again, the 3rd-5th graders are planning to make pumpkin bread for our Community Thanksgiving Dinner guests. We will be collecting spare change after worship on Sunday, October 27 and Sunday, November 3. We will use the change to buy supplies for baking the bread.
The Brookline Food Pantry is in immediate need of a volunteer willing to either drive a rented U-Haul to and from the Greater Boston Food Bank or be willing to ride along with a driver to help load and unload food purchased at the food bank.
On Sunday, November 3, we commemorate All Saints Day. We welcome receiving the names of saints in your lives to print in the bulletin and read aloud in worship.
Each year, United Parish hosts a free Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day for members of the wider community. Church members and friends donate the food, do the cooking, and volunteer to serve the food to our guests. Everyone is welcome!
We are gathering as a spiritual community on Saturday, October 19 from 9:30am-11:30am at United Parish in the Lindsay Room to share quiet prayer time with those you know and new friends.
Please save the date for this year's leadership retreat on Saturday, October 26 from 9:00am-2:00pm in Willett Hall. We hope to have ALL Conveners present, and we encourage others from the ministry teams to participate too.
Lend a hand with projects big and small on Sunday, October 20 from 12:30pm-4:30pm. Many hands make light work! We will be doing projects in shifts - come for a couple hours or stay for the day. Contact Bethany L.
Our handbell choir will now have a permanent loft of its own so that they’re able to focus more on ringing and less on moving tables. Special thanks to Facilities Manager Jaime Matheny for pulling out the pews, and to Kate H. for designing the area.
