Around the Community: The Brookline Consort

The Brookline Consort presents "Sacred Service" at United Parish in Brookline on Saturday, June 22 at 7:30pm. "Sacred Service" explores music of the Christian, Jewish and Muslim faith traditions and features choral music of A.R. Rahman, Ernest Bloch, and Frank Martin. We are thrilled to be joined by Jewish bass-baritone Ian Pomerantz who will be singing the cantor solo in Bloch's "Avodath Hakodesh". Tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door and free for students. Visit thebrooklineconsort.org for tickets and more information.

The Brookline Consort is grateful to be back at United Parish after a very successful Fireside Carols concert in December and you'll have a chance to hear members of the group sing at the 11am service on June 9.
