Call for Volunteers: Represent United Parish at GBIO

Last month, our congregation came together to unanimously vote to join the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization (GBIO). This is an organization that brings together people of faith from all backgrounds to take political action for social and economic justice initiatives. Their impact has been incredible, with true progress ranging from local parks to state-wide health care reform and police accountability. We're currently seeking out individuals who are passionate about collective action for the common good, and would like to represent United Parish as GBIO representatives.

Upcoming Events:

These will be the FIRST events that United Parish will participate in as a full member.

GBIO Delegates’ Assembly 2021: Thursday, August 12 7-8:30pm on Zoom. 1,500 people and 10 regional caucuses later, it’s time to ratify the top issues that will be the foundation of our action for the next 3-4 years, and hear the Boston mayoral agenda. Register at bit.ly/gbioaugust12.

Boston Mayoral Forum: Tuesday, August 31 from 7-9pm on Zoom. Register at bit.ly/gbiomayor.

If you're interested in learning more about GBIO involvement, please reach out to stretchingintojustice@upbrookline.org - we can't wait to tell you more.
