Collecting Donations for Coat Boston

Coat Boston was launched by City Mission in 2009, and since then more than 18,000 elementary school children in Boston have received new coats. The United Parish has partnered with City Mission and contributed to this effort for many years.

A new warm coat means children and youth who receive them are able to attend school regularly; they will be warm and able to play outside; and they will be able to enjoy the dignity of fitting in with their peers! The goal this year is to provide 2000 coats.

City Mission is able to provide a new coat with every $35 donated. The United Parish will be collecting donations (checks and cash only) through Sunday, December 1. Checks should be made out to "The United Parish in Brookline" with 'Coat Boston' in the note line.

Thank you in advance for your ongoing support of this very special community effort to warm up winter. If you have any questions, please contact the Church Office 617-277-6860, or email office@upbrookline.org.
