Support Our Friends at Hamilton-Garrett

Hamilton Garrett Music and Arts Center, the recipient organization for the United Parish Negro Spiritual Royalties Project, is having an exciting fundraising concert on Sunday, February 26 at 6pm at the Berklee Performance Center. Their goal is to raise $150,000 to expand their curriculum, grow their student body, and increase their impact on young Black musicians in the Boston area.

PLEASE join other United Parish members at the Berklee Performing Arts Center for "Make Them Hear You" - featuring the widely acclaimed a cappella group Take 6, that Quincy Jones called the "baddest vocal cats on the planet," and the Hamilton-Garrett Youth Choir and drum ensemble!

You can support them in three ways:

1. Buy Tickets! Showing up is the best way we can show our support!

Click here to purchase tickets for "Make Them Hear You" 2023 Fundraising Concert.

Please let us know how many tickets you plan to buy and if you need help getting there by emailing susan@upbrookline.org with the subject line “Make Them Hear You Concert.”

2. Donate to United Parish to help us sponsor this event.

United Parish will help sponsor the event at the $1,000 level as a demonstration of our support for the incredible work HGMAC is doing with the students of Roxbury and Dorchester. To join with others at United Parish to sponsor the event, donate at unitedparishbrookline.org/give and select “Ministries of United Parish,” and email Doug Johnson treasurer@upbrookline.org to notify him that the donation is to help sponsor the HGMAC “Make Them Hear You" Concert.

A sponsorship by United Parish adds our name to those in the Greater Boston community who believe in their mission. It will also allow us to have a place in their "Make Them Hear You" program book, which will articulate that while The United Parish continues to pay royalties for the Negro Spirituals we sing - royalties that we believe should have been paid all along - we also stand behind HGMAC as their official sponsors, and celebrate with them their growing success as an after school music program of the highest caliber for the young people of Roxbury, Dorchester, and the greater Boston area.

3. Become a private sponsor at the $1k, $5k, $10k, or $25k level!

Click here, and please let us know if you become a private sponsor by emailing susan@upbrookline.org with "Make Them Hear You Concert" in the subject line. Becoming a private sponsor gets you a place in the program, VIP tickets, tickets for HGMAC families who can’t afford to attend, and more fun stuff!
