Iuliana Mogosanu

Iuliana graduated with a Bachelor’s in Economics and also holds an MBA from The University of Michigan Ross School of Business and an MS from The University of Michigan School of Environment and Sustainability. She is currently a dual-degree MPA and MDiv student at Harvard Kennedy School and at Harvard Divinity School and a Research Associate at Harvard Business School. She worked for several years in corporate and investment banking on a risk management position on investments with multinational corporations from several industries and countries. She was also a Vice-President of The Zell Lurie Commercialization Fund and an Early-Stage Investor. She is the co-founder of a fintech startup that prices water risk in securities and develops water adjusted indexes for the stock market. The startup also provides corporations with tools to manage their water risk. She received The Dow Distinguished Award with seed funding for developing a patented concentrated solar power water desalination technology that is being deployed in Latin America in coastal communities without access to fresh water with support from United Nations and other organizations. She is a trained soprano and sings in two Harvard University choruses. Iuliana cares about environmental and social justice and has been actively involved in community service and church her entire life.
