Spiritual Practice for the week: get familiar with a difficult emotion, either your own or in solidarity with someone else. Spend time with it and notice how it feels in your body. Notice where the sensations are strongest, and what, if any, resistance you encounter. Try offering those sensations to God as an embodied incarnation of prayer.
