Take-home Questions
What about your own money story keeps you from living abundantly and with
forgiveness?
What would it mean to be released from that impediment?
When you hear in today’s scripture readings about the command to cancel others debts
after seven years, to live into a year of Jubilee or to sell everything you have, what
questions does it raise? How does it challenge you?
What would you like your relationship to money to look like?

Stewardship Season (April 30-May 21)
Recommitment: Exploring our Money Stories
We all have a money story, whether we recognize it or not. Perhaps we are living from a story of fear
or shame or guilt. Or a story that our actions won’t have an impact. Or a story that we don’t have
enough. Where might God be speaking a new narrative into the limited ones we have told ourselves?
Remember (April 30)
Release (May 7)
Reimagine (May 14)
Restore (May 21) — Consecration Sunday, when we bring forth our pledge forms.
