Are you new to United Parish? We’re offering a short “Exploring Membership” class series:
- Class 1: “Learning”. Sunday, October 19 from 12:30-2pm, in the Choir Room. In this class, you will have a chance to learn more about United Parish, our history and beliefs, the benefits/responsibilities of membership, and our governance structure; childcare will be provided in our nursery for the duration of the class. - Class 2: “Sharing”. Sunday, November 2 from 12:30-2pm, in the Choir Room. Members of our Discernment & Engagement team will join us for this class, in which we’ll get to know one another a little more closely, and share a snapshot of our faith stories thus far. Childcare in the nursery will be provided upon request. RSVP HERE
- Newcomers’ Tour. Sunday, November 9 at 12:30pm, meet in the lobby outside the Church Office. Kent and Amy will lead an introductory tour of the building after worship, to help you get your bearings in our maze-like space and learn more about the programs and activities that happen here.
- New Member Joining. Sunday, November 23 at 11am, in the Sanctuary during worship. If you discern that you would like to become an official member of United Parish, save the date for November 23rd, when we’ll celebrate our new member covenant together in worship!
