CityReach Clothing Drive

As our teens prepare for their CityReach weekend of learning and service with ministry partner, common cathedral, they are hosting a clothing drive to collect items such as: Warm coats Nylon jackets, ponchos, and raincoats for the Spring Sweatshirts and sweatpants (especially hooded sweatshirts) Sweaters T-shirts Long-sleeve shirts Jeans, khakis and other casual pants Waterproof boots, comfortable shoes, and sneakers Hats, waterproof gloves, scarves Belts Backpacks, tote bags, fanny packs, small suitcases with wheels Travel-size toiletries such as soap, shampoo, deodorant, lotion, chapstick, toothpaste, and shaving cream in small sizes. Growing Grandparents – February 11

 You are invited to join the next Growing Grandparents meeting on Wednesday, February 11 at 10am. There will be a sharing time, when folks can, at their choice, share their own experiences that illustrate problems or injustices which exist in the world or their own communities. This sharing will be modeled on the process GBIO (Greater Boston Interfaith Organization) uses to gather stories for planning its next campaign. Singing in choir is among the most mentally, physically, psychologically, socially, and spiritually beneficial activities we humans can engage in. Singing with others is rooted in ceremony and ritual, and the “choir” as we know it began in the church where folks come looking for inspiration, connection, and healing.
