Caregiving

Caregiving at United Parish is best represented by the mission statement of our Hearts and Hands ministry that is put into practice by United Parish members and friends “to embody the love and compassion of Jesus by using our voices, eyes, hands and feet to support, comfort and care for our United Parish family during times of celebration and joy, sickness and healing, grief and loss.”

Pastoral Care

The pastors, staff, and lay leaders of United Parish collaborate in providing pastoral care and support for members of the congregation. Through prayer, conversation, and a ministry of presence, we will walk with you through important moments in your personal journey: as life begins and ends, in times of illness or struggle, and as you discern how God may be calling you in your personal life and relationships. Sometimes through one-to-one care and at other times in small groups, we will seek God’s Spirit with you as we offer comfort and guidance. Read more.
