Artificial Intelligence and Our Faith: A Religious Education Session
What might Christian theologians and a careful reading of Scripture have to teach us about the ethical (dis)use of artificial intelligence? Weijia C. (they/them), a former Silicon Valley software engineer and current BU School of Theology student, will walk us through key concepts to understand public discourse around AI, and introduce Christian theological perspectives and strategies for reading the Bible that might help us establish a responsible relationship with this emerging technology. Session dates: Sunday, August 17 at 11:30am in Willett Hall, with a repeat session on Wednesday, August 20 at 7pm on Zoom. Find the Zoom link in the weekly email newsletter.
