Singing in choir is among the most mentally, physically, psychologically, socially, and spiritually beneficial activities we humans can engage in. Singing with others is rooted in ceremony and ritual, and the “choir” as we know it began in the church where folks come looking for inspiration, connection, and healing.
The Chancel Choir provides music for United Parish’s worship services throughout the year, singing everything from classical works with orchestra to a cappella arrangements of Spirituals. They are a wonderful and truly welcoming group of singing people of all ages, including seasoned professionals, first-time choir members, and everything in between!
Rehearsals are Thursdays from 7-9pm in the Choir Room!
