The “Big Chorus Sing Out for Immigrant Rights” is being held on Wednesday, March 11 at 4pm at Boston City Hall. They are hoping to bring together as many singers (trained, amateur, and everyone in between) as possible to come out and sing for the protection and rights of immigrants in MA.
To help everyone get ready, Boston Voices of Community and Labor (BVOCAL) is hosting a sing-along in the Back Bay on Sunday March 1 from 2-4pm to help new singers and song leaders learn the songs and get inspired to take action (location TBD).
Our own Minister of Music Susan DeSelms will lead a sing-along at 6pm in the Parlor, 30 minutes before the Parent-Teen Dinner this Sunday, February 22. She will have resources available after church, and will offer other short sing-alongs over the next several weeks to help folks prepare.
Please reach out if you are interested to Minister of Music Susan DeSelms at susan@upbrookline.org.
