We are well on our way to having our most impactful year ever. This quarter we are coming off our evening fall preview, which was a lovely event.
In terms of the numbers, so far this year we have raised just over $121,000! September alone saw an income of just over $20,000, which is our best month ever. With this money we have spent just over $9,250 on charitable contributions and our monthly amazon order. This means we have bought 51 cases of diapers, 62 packs of socks, 81 packs of underwear, 40 cases of soap, 21 cases of toothpaste, 30 cases of shampoo, 2 cases of toothbrushes, 7 packs of tampons, and 14 packs of maxi pads.
If we switch to the numbers saved from the landfill, this quarter we re-donated 878 bags of clothing/goods, which is approximately 9219 lbs we kept out of the landfill and got to people who need them. This means that this year we have sent out 2131 bags or 22387 lbs of clothing. This is the equivalent of about 2 African Bush Elephants (the largest land animals according to my quick google search).
