Immigration Vigil in Boston

On Tuesday, July 29th there will be a vigil at Boston City Hall Plaza to raise awareness and provide support for immigrants on the Temporary Protection Status program or TPS.  President Trump has rescinded the program.  The result is that thousands of immigrants from Venezuela, Haiti, Hondurus, Nepal, and Nicaragua have or will lose their right to live and work in the USA.  They entered legally and have committed no crime but are now being deported.  Over 1 million people are being affected.
If you are interested in attending the vigil or would like more information, please contact stretchingintojustice@upbrookline.org or see Livia I.  The UP group can meet at the T station in Coolidge Corner or at City Hall Plaza.
