GBIO Campaign Themes

To all at United Parish …

GBIO is ready to select its next campaign themes! It is now in the final stages of assembling the research teams who this summer will explore issues in each of the five topics that emerged from about six months of “house meetings” at the 55 or so GBIO congregations across eastern Massachusetts. (We held three at United Parish in December, January and March.)

If you want to be part of this final process of choosing GBIO’s next campaign issues, read on.

The five topics which emerged from hundreds of house meetings were:

· Housing and homeownership

· Child care

· Education

· Mental health

· Food insecurity

Contact David or Terry directly, or e-mail us at gbio@upbrookline.org.

The process this summer is to narrow down these five “semi-final” topics to two or three, with specific issues within those selected topics, where GBIO can make a difference in the lives of people affected by the issues. Joining a GBIO Research Team will be a great chance to work with folks from other congregations who are also concerned about the issues you care about.

This is a great chance to get in at the beginning of GBIO’s next phase of work. Please let us know of your interest!
