A Workshop on AI Literacy and Christian Ethics
What does it mean to be a faithful Christian in the time of artificial intelligence? AI technologies are dominating the headlines and becoming a greater part of our everyday lives, but we don’t often get opportunities to reflect on AI as a faith issue. Weijia Cheng, a former Silicon Valley software engineer and current student at the Boston University School of Theology, will walk us through the basic idea of artificial intelligence and introduce concepts from the Christian tradition that might help us establish a responsible relationship with this emerging technology.
